• Post Anesthesia Care
  The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), often called the recovery room, cares for patients after surgery.
• Special Care Unit
  The Special Care Unit (SCU) staff is trained to provide specialized care for patients who have had heart attacks, major surgery, trauma or require intensive medical nursing care.
• Surgery Suite
  Penobscot Bay Medical Center's Surgical Services Suite is comprised of four state-of-the-art operating rooms built around a central core and the minor surgery suite.
• The Day Surgery Unit
  The Day Surgery Unit sees most patients who come to Penobscot Bay Medical Center for surgery, whether as inpatients or outpatients.
