Penobscot Bay Medical Center Radiology Department's reception function is to register you, and place the order for your test and expedite your visit from the time of your arrival to our department to the delivery of your test.  Reception hours are Monday through Friday from 7:15  a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Site of service registration and check in is located at the radiology reception, which is to the left of the hospital's main lobby.  Please check in at the receptionist desk in the radiology waiting area upon your arrival. 

Please have your insurance and all personal information ready to ensure completed processes. If your physician has given you a request for X-ray services, please make sure to bring that with you for your exam. 

Walk-in services are available for routine diagnostic X-rays during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.),  and must be accompanied by a physician's order.

To schedule exams, please call 596-8500. We will need to know your full name, date of birth, ordering physician, exam to be performed and what type of insurance you have.
