Routine Radiology Services are provided at PBMC Monday through Friday. Emergency services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The Radiology Department also offers

Three board-certified radiology physicians provide coverage seven days a week on site and are linked by teleradiology for interpretation of exam results in emergency situations.

Our highly trained staff and sophisticated equipment mean prompt and accurate information for diagnosing our patients. 

  • About Our Staff
    The Radiology Department at Penobscot Bay Medical Center is dedicated to serving the needs of area physicians and patients in the delivery of superior, cost-effective radiologic services and consultations on all levels of care.
  • Film File Room and Records
    Radiology Film Room at Penobscot Bay Medical Center Radiology Department is responsible for maintaining, storing and retrieving patient’s films that were completed at the hospital.  The Film Department requires a minimum of 24-hour notice to print films as well as a 48 hours turn around for film copying.
  • Hours and Services
    The normal hours of operation for services provided by the Department of Radiology are designed to meet the needs of the patients and physicians within the constraints of available Hospital resources.  All areas of Radiology provide coverage 24 hours per day and 7 days per week for emergency services.
  • Scheduling, Reception and Location
    Reception hours are Monday through Friday from 7:15 a.m. to 5 p.m.
