The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), often called the recovery room, cares for patients after surgery.

PACU also provides other non-invasive medical procedures, including epidural steroid injections, transesophageal echocardiograms and pediatric conscious sedation.

PACU is staffed by registered nurses with specialized education in the area of postanesthesia.
