Penobscot Bay Medical Center offers a special service to new parents, allowing families can have their newborn's photograph posted for viewing on the Pen Bay Healthcare website.

Before you arrive at the hospital, you can request to have a digital photograph taken after your baby is born. The photographs of your newborn baby will then be posted on the Internet, available for family members and friends to see from anywhere in the world.  All they need is access to the World Wide Web.

This is a free service provided by the hospital to capture that special moment immediately following the birth of your child.     View the babies.

However, because the photographs and other information become public information by being posted on the Internet, a signed Participation and Release Form is required by the hospital before this free service can be provided.

Babies will be identified by first name, middle name and last initial only. Parents can also appear with their baby and will be identified by first names only. The photos will be posted on the Pen Bay Healthcare/PBMC website for 90 days.

Family and friends will be able to view the digital photographs of your newborn baby by visiting the Our Newborns section of the website.
