Paid Time Off (PTO): Pen Bay Healthcare has a program that consolidates traditional paid time off benefits (holidays, vacation, sick/personal days) into a single package called Paid Time Off. PTO hours accrue bi-weekly based on hourly status. Accrued hours up to 336 may be carried over to the next calendar year. Year-end cash out options are also available.
For exempt and salaried employees, the rate of accrual is also based upon your length of service and the weekly number of hours you are budgeted to work. Please note that your accrual increases at the beginning of your 5th, 10th, and 15th years.

To this end, EAP provides confidential short-term consultation services and referrals to local community treatment sources. All employees are free to use this program and are encouraged to do so.
