Reginald J. Albert Joins Pen Bay Healthcare

Reginald J. Albert, MBA, FHFMA, has joined Pen Bay Healthcare as the organization's vice president of physician practices. Reginald J. Albert, PBH vice president of physician practices

Albert comes to Pen Bay from Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, where he was director of specialty practices, overseeing roughly 65 providers and support staff in various practices; he was also administrator of CMMC's family medicine residency program.

An Augusta native, Albert is a graduate of Thomas College and has an MBA and a Master's in Health Administration Certificate, both from Southern New Hampshire University.

Albert will oversee all medical practices at Pen Bay Physicians & Associates as well as Pen Bay Healthcare's implementation of an electronic medical records system, physician practice strategic planning and development.

"Reggie Albert brings a wealth of experience in medical practice management to our staff, and will help lead our growing number of employed physician practices," said Dr. Dana Goldsmith, vice president of medical affairs at Penobscot Bay Medical Center.

Albert and his family live in Auburn. His wife is a nurse at Maine Medical Center. They have three children; one in college and two in high school.
