PBMC Departments Move to New Locations

Penobscot Bay Medical Center would like to inform the public about the relocation of three hospital departments.

The PBMC AntiCoagulation Unit has moved from space near the Emergency Department to the PBMC Step-Down Unit. To get there, patients should use the hospital's main entrance, walk past the main reception desk, turn right at the first hallway and turn left again at the next corridor. The unit is on the main floor and stairs/elevators are not needed for access.

The Infusion Center also has relocated to the Step-Down Unit. Previously, the center was located in the north lower level solarium.

Health Connections, the Occupational Health, Safety and Wellness department at PBMC, is relocating from its location on Route 1 to offices across the hall from the PBMC Emergency Department, near the entrance directly across from the physicians' office building.

Health Connections' phone and fax numbers remain the same. Its new mailing address will be 6 Glen Cove Drive, Rockport, ME, 04856. The Health Connections move is effective April 27. Health Connections is online at pbmc.org/healthconnections.
