International Medical Missions
The Pen Bay Healthcare Foundation has created a restricted fund to facilitate and encourage support for the international medical relief efforts of staff. Charitable gifts contributed will support the humanitarian initiatives of physicians, nurses and other Pen Bay Healthcare providers. Funds will be used to cover expenses beyond the pro bono care provided by Pen Bay Healthcare clinicians. For example, Pen Bay physicians are currently providing medical care to patients injured in the January 2010 earthquake, and gifts to the Pen Bay Healthcare Foundation International Medical Fund/Haiti will be used to care for these patients.
Checks may be made out to Pen Bay Healthcare Foundation, with a check notation: International Medical Fund/Haiti, and mailed to 22 White St., Rockland ME 04841.
