New Year's Resolution: Pay It Forward!

Have you resolved to become more involved in your community?…to pay it forward?… to volunteer?…to help your neighbor?

If you have answered "yes" to any of these questions, you might just be the person we are looking for.

Kno-Wal-Lin Homecare and Hospice is offering a four- to five-hour training on becoming a Home Care Visiting Volunteer.  Kno-Wal-Lin serves the people of Waldo County through home care nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and hospice care.

From time to time our clients could benefit from a visiting volunteer who goes to their home to chat, share a cup of tea, provide respite for a family member who is the caregiver, be a good listener, run an errand, or just be a friend.

Would you consider being just that kind of person for one of our clients?

If so, contact Joy Chamberlin, Home Care Volunteer Coordinator, at 594-5961 for information on the next training.  You can make a difference in someone's life right here in Waldo County.
