Quarry Hill Retirement Community invites drivers age 50 and over to register for the new, one-day-only AARP Driver Safety Program scheduled for Friday, Nov. 6, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Anderson Inn at Quarry Hill in Camden.

The one-day program, taught by AARP instructor Don Lunt, features the same curriculum covered in the previous two-day format. Topics include vision and hearing changes, effects of medication, reaction-time changes, left turns and other right-of-way situations, new laws, and hazardous situations. Upon successfully completing the course, drivers may be eligible to receive a state-mandated multiyear discount on their auto insurance premiums.
