More clinics may be scheduled and publicized. Pen Bay will again hold its free clinic at the Pen Bay Community Health & Safety Fair Nov. 7 at Rockland District High School. That clinic is also managed by KWL. Expectations are that this flu season will see two different strains of flu, both seasonal and H1N1. Because it is expected that the H1N1 vaccine will not be ready for distribution until the latter part of October, Kno-Wal-Lin is attempting to schedule as many clinics as possible for the seasonal flu vaccine before then. For more information about the seasonal flu and the H1N1 flu, please call the Maine CDC Flu Hotline at 1-888-257-0990 on Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or visit their website at http://www.maine.gov., or visit the Pen Bay Healthcare site at http://www.penbayhealthcare.org.
