Three Physicians Join PBMC Emergency Department
Penobscot Bay Medical Center is pleased to welcome three new physicians to the hospital's Emergency Department. 
A native of Chillicothe, Ohio, where her father is a urologist, Dr. Tracy Jalbuena is a graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind. She earned a master's degree in sociology from the University of Arizona in Tuscon and her medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill.
She completed her residency in emergency medicine at Ohio State University, including six months experience in the Nationwide Children's Hospital Emergency Department, a nationally-acclaimed referral pediatric hospital. She is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
She says she chose emergency medicine because of its wide variety and the opportunities it provides to emphasize good communication with patients.
She said she chose to work at Penobscot Bay Medical Center because of its "genuine people." She is looking forward to serving the community along side the physicians, nurses and staff in the PBMC ED.
Dr. Jalbuena and her husband James Cook live in Camden with children Noah and Tess. Outside of work, Dr. Jalbuena's interests include spending time with family, traveling, hiking, gardening and architecture. 
Dr. J. Whitney Randolph comes to PBMC from Danville, Pa., and the Geisinger Medical Center, where he was the flight physician for the medical center's Life Flight Program. Geisinger honored his work for commitment and performance in 2007.
He is a graduate of The Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Co. and the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Mo.
Dr. Randolph has been a paramedic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) instructor, getting his start in the field as a ski patroller at Copper Mountain Resort in Colorado. He is certified in ACLS, Advanced Trauma Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
He and his wife Teresa Williamson live in Rockport with their children Emily and Stuart. Outside of work, his interests include canoeing and kayaking, bicycle racing and touring, including tandem bicycle touring and skiiing and backpacking. Dr. Randolph was an amateur bicycle racer while in college from 1984-1989; he was also runner-up in the 2008 Geisinger Emergency Medicine Residency Chili Cook-Off. 
Dr. McKenzie Savidge, a native of Idaho, is a graduate of the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford and the University of Delaware. During medical school, she completed a rural medicine rotation in Vinalhaven and wanted to return to Maine after completing her residency in emergency medicine at the Morristown (N.J.) Memorial Hospital.
She is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support.
An accomplished figure skater, Dr. Savidge was a member of the University of Delaware Collegiate Figure Skating Team and a three-time national figure medalist. She and her husband were married in 2008 in Acadia National Park and they live in Rockland.
"My husband and I were attracted to the Midcoast because it offers wonderful opportunities for all of the cultural, culinary and outdoor activities we enjoy while being located in a close-knit community," she said.
