Openings Now at PBMC
Creative Learning and Childcare Center

The Penobscot Bay Medical Center Creative Learning and Childcare Center, serving employees of Pen Bay Healthcare as well as families in the community, has openings for children ages 2 ½ to 5.

"High-quality early care and education help lay the foundation for children’s success in school and in life," said Amy Boynton, the center director. "We have a comprehensive preschool curriculum encouraging children's development and learning in all areas and following the individual needs and interests of each child, all within a play-based program. At this age, children learn through hands-on, play-based activities."

All the center's teachers have or are in the process of earning a college degree or a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential for their work with young children. Many of the teachers have been with the center since its inception nearly 20 years ago.

For more information about the center visit pbmc.org/childcare or call Kim Appleby, the center's business manager, at 594-8700.
