Attic Treasures Good for the Community

Do you have antiques, old collections or grandma's silverware packed away in the attic? Would you consider donating them to Pen Bay Healthcare?

The Pen Bay Healthcare Foundation will accept, as a charitable donation, fine art, sculpture, folk art, furniture, porcelain, pottery, lighting, oriental rugs, rare books, silver, estate jewelry, art glass, furs, clocks, stamp collections, historical documents, classic boats, antique toys, rare coins and currency.

Items donated by July 7 will go to auction this summer with proceeds to benefit the foundation. Pen Bay Healthcare is always open to non-cash gifts such as antiques, fine art or cars, and this can be a great way to support the foundation during these challenging economic times.

PBH Foundation is sponsoring an evening of camaraderie and fun for Wellspring Society donors, where antiques and treasures can be appraised on Wednesday, June 24 at the Samoset Resport in Rockport. Thomaston Place Auction Galleries provide appraisals in their mobile van.
