PBMC to Host Fifth Annual Victorian Tea and Breast Health Fair

On Tuesday, Oct. 28, from 3 to 7 p.m., the Cancer Care Center and Women's Health at Penobscot Bay Medical Center will host the fifth annual Victorian Tea & Breast Health Fair at the Berry Manor Inn on Talbot Avenue in Rockland. This event, held in a setting evocative of the Victorian era, is a wonderful opportunity for the Midcoast community to learn about breast health from knowledgeable healthcare professionals.

Along with a traditional tea including tasty sandwiches and desserts, this year's fair will feature breast health educators and a free bra-fitting clinic. Guests can speak with an American Cancer Society representative, as well as consultants on breast self-examination, lymphedema and nutrition, stress reduction and body image.

Guests may enjoy a mini-session for chair massage, reflexology or Jin Shin Jyutsu. Skin care consultations, makeovers, and "better bones" workshops will be available. Please come and enjoy the individual pampering and wealth of helpful and educational information being offered. Tea hats are encouraged.

Guests may park behind the inn on the north side of Granite Street and around the corner from the inn at the parking areas for the Lincoln Street Center at 24 Lincoln St. and the McLain School at 26 Lincoln St.
