Alzheimer's Memory Walk Sept. 20 in Rockland  

The Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk® is the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support and research – and it calls on volunteers of all ages to become champions in the fight against Alzheimer's.

In Rockland, the walk is being hosted by the Knox Center for Long-term Care. It will be held Saturday, Sept. 20, beginning at the Knox Center, where registration is at 9 a.m. The walk begins at 10 a.m.

There are walks in more than 600 communities across the U.S.
