News Release
7/15/2008
Trash or Treasure? July 26 at Quarry Hill Gather your teaspoons, toy trains, farm tools -- any old thing you think may have value -- and bring it to Trash or Treasure, a public event modeled on the PBS hit television series Antiques Roadshow. The event will be held at the Anderson Inn at Quarry Hill in Camden on Saturday, July 26, from 12 noon to 3 pm. Admission is free.
Antiques estate auctioneer Bruce E. Gamage, Jr., will be on hand to evaluate each item brought to the event and tell what it could be worth. Participants are asked to limit their items to what they can carry.
Mr. Gamage is a licensed, bonded auctioneer and appraiser with nearly three decades of experience both locally and on the world stage. In addition to running an international auction company, he is owner-proprietor of Gamage Antiques, located on Main Street in Rockland.
