Blood Drive at PBMC June 30

The American Red Cross is holding its second blood drive of 2008 at Penobscot Bay Medical Center, Monday, June 30, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Conference Rooms C & D at the Pen Bay Physicians Building.

Scheduled at the start of the July 4 holiday week, this is a Super Drive, designed to collect 100 usable pints of blood at a time, in summer, when blood donations usually dip.

In order to collect 100 usable pints, the Red Cross needs to collect blood from 150 people. To make an appointment to donate, please email drive organizer Tessie Kilgour at tkilgour@penbayhealthcare.org. You can also call 596-8770.

The drive will include drawings for great prizes. And as at the last drive, in January, there will be fabulous food, including many homemade goodies, to help donors replenish.
