PBMC celebrates two donations in memory of
beloved community members

Dr. Dana Goldsmith and Artist Anne Kilham

Anne Kilham, the Rockport artist known for her ability to capture colorful Maine scenes in watercolor, has donated six giclee prints to Penobscot Bay Medical Center in memory of her friend Jim Gilbert of Camden. Gilbert was a well-known Camden businessman, who, among his many accomplishments, owned a popular tavern which bore his name. In this photo, Kilham is joined by Dr. Dana Goldsmith, vice president of medical affairs, PBMC, near the prints which hang in the main hallway at Penobscot Bay Medical Center.

Anna Remsen, Dr. Dana Goldsmith, Kit Aroneau
Dr. Henri Hardy of Naples, Fla., a former Penobscot Bay Medical Center physician, has donated a handmade quilt to PBMC in memory of his wife Joanne. The quilt was made by members of the PBMC Auxiliary, of which Joanne Hardy was a long-time and enthusiastic member. The quilt, hanging above the main hallway at Penobscot Bay Medical Center, creates a Maine tableau and includes blueberries, a chickadee, an LL Bean boot, a Belted Galloway, the state seal, lighthouses and more. Dr. Dana Goldsmith, vice president for medical affairs, met Joanne Hardy's daughters, Anna Remsen, left, and Kit Aroneau, right, at the hospital recently to view the quilt.
