Kno-Wal-Lin Thanks Volunteers
Kno-Wal-Lin Home Care and Hospice honored its volunteers at an annual tea party recently at the Quarry Hill Retirement Community in Camden. The afternoon event featured various fruits and cheeses, along with cakes and a chocolate fountain. More than 40 volunteers from Knox, Waldo and Lincoln counties attended.
An award of gratitude was presented to Joe Gray of Damariscotta who has served Kno-Wal-Lin as a volunteer carpenter for 10 years. He has made numerous items for Kno-Wal-Lin patients including medicine boards and chair lifts for the physical therapy patients.
Volunteer Auxiliaries from all three counties served by Kno-Wal-Lin were represented at the tea.
