The outpatient services offered by MCMHC seek to provide all our clients with a variety of treatment approaches to children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, elders, and groups who may be experiencing life stresses, transitions, or other mental health issues.
MCMHC has a clinical staff consisting of licensed clinical social workers, licensed master social workers, licensed clinical professional counselors, Advanced Practice RNs and registered art therapists. These highly trained and experienced mental health professionals are committed to provide quality services in a community mental health setting.
In -School Therapy: Our school based therapists meet with students and act as liaisons between the school and the home. We consult with classroom teachers and special education staff as needed. We serve as a valuable communication link between clinic-based child psychiatry, parents and school staff
Adolescent Girls Group: This group will facilitate self-awareness activities designed to develop interdisciplinary skills in adolescent girls, specifically in learning to deal with aggressive feelings towards peers and authority figures. The objective of the program is to allow each girl to achieve self-understanding, increased self-worth, and increased coping and social skills. These skills will lead to decreased aggressiveness towards peers and authority figures, decreased self-abuse and self-destructive behaviors.
