The Cancer Care Center at Penobscot Bay Medical Center would like to inform the community about two support groups, one for women and one for men.

Navigating a cancer diagnosis, treatment and post treatment can be a challenge. These informal gatherings can provide a more comfortable atmosphere for candid discussion.

The women's group meets as an informal gathering on the second and fourth Monday of every month at 4:30 p.m. in the Family Room at the PBMC Cancer Care Center. The next meeting is Monday, Nov. 9.

The men's group will meet as an informal gathering on the third Monday of every month at 4:30 p.m. in the Family Room at the PBMC Cancer Care Center. The first meeting will be Monday, Nov. 16.
