Pen Bay Healthcare Home Care and Hospice Nurse Chosen as One of Top 50 Nurses

Leann Sebrey from Union, Maine was announced as one of the top 50 home care and hospice nurses by the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) during National Nurses Week. Leann is director of Nurses for Kno-Wal-Lin Home Care and Hospice located in Rockland, Maine.

To coincide with National Nurses Week, NAHC launched a nurse recognition program that highlighted the role home care and hospice nurses play in the delivery of health care to the ill and infirm in the comfort of their homes.

All 50 of the nurses whose photo and story appear in this month's CARING Magazine are invited to the NAHC Annual Meeting & Exposition, which will be held at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, on October 21-25, 2012. Their registration fees will be waived, and they will be honored at a reception. The one who is chosen Home Care and Hospice Nurse of the Year, according to the balloting, will have their travel and hotel expenses paid and receive the gift of a new Apple iPad. You are invited to choose the top nurse by voting for your favorite. Readers are encouraged to log on to www.nahc.org in order to vote for our own Leann Sebrey. Additional nominations are always welcome and should be sent to lisa@nahc.org.
