Kno-Wal-Lin Executive Director Receives Award from the Home Care and Hospice Alliance of Maine

Donna DeBlois, RN, Executive Director, Kno-Wal-Lin Home Care and Hospice, has been given the Distinguished Service Award from the Home Care and Hospice Alliance of Maine. DeBlois, who is also the Vice President of Community Health for Pen Bay Healthcare, was recognized for her tireless efforts on behalf of the home care and hospice communities in the MidCoast, across Maine and at the national level. DeBlois, who lives in Winthrop with her two children, has been with Kno-Wal-Lin for almost 10 years. She has published numerous articles in the fields of home care and hospice and is known as a prominent speaker at conferences throughout the United States. Most recently, DeBlois spoke at the National Association of Home Care and Hospice Financial Managers meeting in Boston. Later this month, she will be presenting at that Association's annual meeting in Los Angeles. The entire operations team at Kno-Wal-Lin participated in nominating DeBlois for this award, recognizing the role she plays in the wide sphere of home care and hospice organizations as well as her significant contribution to the patients from Knox, Waldo and Lincoln counties who benefit from Kno-Wal-Lin services.
