Occupational therapist and driving rehab specialist Heather Shields, OTR/L will speak on the sensitive issue of driving. Shields is the founder of Pathways Rehabilitation Services, a private practice focused on helping Maine seniors and adults with cognitive or physical limitations drive safely so they can remain active in their communities.
Parkinson’s Disease support group is open to all those living with Parkinson’s disease as well as their loved ones and caregivers. Meets regularly on the first Tuesday of each month at the Anderson Inn. Admission is free. Attendees are encouraged to bring bag lunches; Quarry Hill provides beverages and desserts.
