Kno-Wal-Lin Homecare and Hospice presents Health Matters with Kno-Wal-Lin every 2nd Thursday from noon – 1 p.m. at the Picker Family Resource Center.
This month’s talk will help ensure that you and your loved ones enjoy a healthy summer as Kno-Wal-Lin community health educator, Valerie Garrigan, RN, BS, CDE, shares tips to avoid the common hazards often associated with summer fun: heat stroke, dehydration, exercise injuries, tick bites, & more, in “Summer Healthy Living Tips.”
Health Matters with Kno-Wal-Lin, is a program in collaboration with the Picker Family Resource Center, to explore the ways in which home health and community services can promote one’s best health and well-being at home. Programs are free and are open to all ages, but space is limited. Please call 596-8950 to register.
The Picker Family Resource Center is located on the Pen Bay Medical Center campus, 3 Glen Cove Drive, Suite 2, between Urology and Women’s Health.
